Yarmony Music Festival Returns: Announcing the 2024 Yarmony Lineup & Ticket Info

The 15th Yarmony Music Festival will take place June 28-29, 2024 at Rancho Del Rio in Bond, CO.

It’s been 5 years since we all gathered on the banks of the Colorado River at Rancho del Rio to celebrate Yarmony.

Sure, many Colorado locals have made the trek to Bond to enjoy Rancho in their own way in the time since the last Yarmony Fest in 2019.  During the pandemic, there were several small gatherings in place of Yarmony, like our very own Yarm-anyway and a similar-themed Yar-mini.  We’ve celebrated nuptials at the sacred campsite during the iconic Gleasonfest.  As a rafting base, Rancho has hosted many a group campout, and, of course, Beanstalk Music Festival has kept the festival tradition alive at Rancho.

But none of that is Yarmony.

Yarmony Music Festival (previously Yarmonygrass) has been a staple of the Colorado music festival scene for almost 20 years. It is universally beloved by those who annually don their pirate gear, pack their floats and rafts, and celebrate the original floating stage in the Colorado River eddy that we all hold so dear.  This is why so many hearts were broken when Yarmony remained silent long after most festivals and events marked their return following the pandemic shutdowns of 2020 and 2021.

But now, after 5 years, Yarmony rises again!

The murmurs began several months ago on the Yarmony Facebook and Instagram pages, with teases of a 2024 festival.  Then, in November 2023, an announcement was finally made – Yarmony Music Festival was returning in 2024!  The festival announced the dates – June 28-29 – marking a change from the traditional August gathering and generating a huge level of excitement for the return of the beloved music festival to Rancho del Rio.

And now, after several more months of patiently waiting, we have the 2024 Yarmony Festival Lineup:

Yarmony Music Festival 2024 Lineup

The Yarmony 2024 Lineup came with much anticipation and speculation, and delivered a well-rounded roster of Colorado and Nationally touring artists, topped off by the one and only Lindsay Lou.  Lou has been making waves across the country this past year, stealing hearts and the show at every festival she has touched, including Colorado’s other premiere river festival, Rhythms on the Rio, and at Annapolis Baygrass Music Festival, where her artist-at-large position brought fire and energy to every set of the weekend.

Lindsay Lou is joined by another group experiencing a meteoric rise – The Fretliners.  Last year’s winners of both the Telluride and Rockygrass band competitions, it was just a matter of time before this incredibly talented Colorado string band found themselves in a festival headlining slot, as well as hosts of a highly anticipated Super Pick!

Daniel Rodriguez has also been making waves across the land since his debut release in 2019.  He has played alongside musical heavyweights such as Gregory Alan Isakov, Ben Harper, John Craigie, Todd Snider, and toured with the Lumineers.

Drunken Hearts are a much-appreciated staple of any Yarmony Festival, fronted by Yarmony founder Andrew McConathy.  Since the last Yarmony, Drunken Hearts have released several new albums, and most recently an all-star cover of a Pearl Jam hit.

Billy Failing is best known as a member of the Billy Strings band, and his incredible banjo skills will be seen throughout Yarmony, where he is listed as “Special Guest.”

Alongside this solid headlining bunch are plenty of high-caliber names that add up to a well-rounded lineup that will have us all shouting YAAAARRRRRRRRRRRR!

Colorado’s Tenth Mountain Division always packs a punch, and, from Asheville, NC, Jon Stickley Trio will melt all the pirate faces in the crowd.  Bonnie Sims (Big Richard) appears alongside her talented husband, Taylor, in the Bonnie & Taylor Sims Band. Up-and-coming star Madeline Hawthorne makes her Yarmony debut.  Violet Pilot and Liver Down The River are no strangers to Rancho, and Timber! will surely have something to say about the floating stage!

Easy Tiger, Derek Dames Ohl, and Justin Garber round out the roster, along with Silas Herman and Jack Cloonan, who, as artists-at-large are sure to engage in plenty of shenanigans on and off of the stage.

The result is a fantastic return to Yarmony with a lineup filled with old friends of the Yaarrr alongside newcomers and stars on the rise.
