The 2026 WinterWonderGrass Steamboat Music Festival is only a few short weeks away! One of our most beloved music festivals, WinterWonderGrass has been a staple to the Festy GoNuts family over the years.  This independently owned and operated music festival showcases the best in musical performances set against the backdrop of the majestic of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. 

When you take a break from the music, attendees enjoy beer samples, delicious food, soaking in hot springs, and skiing down the hill!  It’s truly one of the most amazing festival experiences of the year.

WinterWonderGrass Steamboat returns to Steamboat Springs, Colorado for its 13th annual installment of the beloved music, brews, and mountains festival. The music is just the beginning of what a WWG weekend offers. WWG prides itself on being all inclusive and fun for the whole family, which adds to the warm, reunion-like atmosphere. From skiing or riding the legendary Champagne Powder on Steamboat Mountain to catching free pop-up shows at Thunderhead Lodge, or exploring the Kids Zone featuring Town Hall and Steamboat Creates, there’s something for everyone.

WWG is part music festival, part beer festival, and since its inception WWG has featured the best in local brewers and crafters. Taste of WonderGrass complimentary tastings take place every day from 2 – 4 pm in the three large heated music tents: Jamboree, Pickin’ Perch, and The Soap Box. Must be 21+ to sample alcoholic beverages.

One of the most inspiring on-site experiences each year is Camp Coletrain, a two-day immersive music workshop presented in partnership with Coletrain Music Academy. This year, the WWG workshops will be led by Coleman Smith of Yonder Mountain String Band. These professional music workshops take place Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1, before festival gates open at the Steamboat Grand Hotel. Camp Coletrain is open to musicians and aspiring musicians of all levels, welcoming adults, teens, and kids ages 6–12. A one-of-a-kind experience to learn, play, and grow in a supportive, music-filled setting. This experience is free for WinterWonderGrass ticket holders.
