Rhythms on the Rio Announces Initial 2025 Lineup: Kitchen Dwellers, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country, Andy Frasco & the U.N. to headline.
The 18th Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival takes place in Del Norte, CO, July 31 – August 3, 2025. Rhythms on the Rio is a benefit for the South Fork Music Association. Tickets are on sale now.

The announcement of the Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival lineup is one of the most highly anticipated in Colorado each year. Consistently bringing together rosters of the hottest acts in the festival circuit, along with up-and-coming stars and talented locals, Rhythms lineups are known for spanning bluegrass, jam, funk, soul, rock and Americana.
For the 18th Rhythms on the Rio, which will take place in Del Norte – July 31 – Aug. 3, Rhythms is staying true to form, with headliners that will bring the party to the Rio Grande in Southern CO.
Andy Frasco & the U.N. will bring the party with an mix of funk, jazz, surf rock, blues, swing, gospel, reggae, exotica, led by one of the most energetic frontmen on the scene in Frasco.
Kitchen Dwellers are returning to Rhythms, having previously appeared in 2023. Known for their extremely high-energy live performances, the Kitchen Dwellers have been storming the jamgrass world, melting faces worldwide and leaving a trail of new fans in their wake.
Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country was slated to appear at Rhythms on the Rio in 2024, but a travel issue prevented them from making it. Their 2-set announcement for 2025 will surely be met with enthusiasm from those who were anxious to catch the band last year.
Dogs in a Pile merge funk, jazz, and rock and roll with psychedelia, and are making their Rhythms debut, as is Mihali, the Vermont-based singer, songwriter, guitarist, and co-founder of rock outfit Twiddle.
Another returning act is the California funk band, Diggin’ Dirt, who blew away the Rhythms crowd in 2024. Sicard Hollow will be making their debut in Del Norte, along with up-and-coming shredders, Silas Herman & the Tone Unit. Johnny Mullenax melted faces in the late-night tent last year, and this year he returns with a slot on the main-stage.
Expect another half-dozen or so artists to be added to this initial roster, as well as a Thursday-night pre-party band, Late-night acts, and, new to 2025, ‘Tweener-stage artists.
