Rhythms on the Rio Full Lineup Adds Molly Tuttle, George Porter Jr., Bill Nershi and More
Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival Announces Full Lineup, adding Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, George Porter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners, more…
Rhythms on the Rio will take place August 5-7, 2022, in Del Norte, CO
Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival shared some exciting news today, announcing additions to the 2022 lineup that have quickly turned this little river festival into one of the best Colorado fests of the summer.
Already boasting Railroad Earth and The Travelin’ McCourys, Rhythms announced today via social media that they are adding Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, along with George Prter Jr. & Runnin’ Pardners.
Molly Tuttle and her band have been making waves around the country this year, and will surely be a welcome addition to the Colorado river festival.
George Porter Jr. is, of course, a living legend. Everything he touches turns to gold – funky, funky gold – and his Runnin’ Pardners project is no exception.
The festival also announced the full lineup for the Bluegrass Generals. Led by Chris Pandolfi and Andy Hall of The Infamous Stringdusters, the Rhythms on the Rio Bluegrass Generals will also feature Ronnie McCoury and Alan Bartram of The Travelin’ McCourys, as well as The String Cheese Incident’s Bill Nershi.
The 2022 lineup also includes the additions of Southern Colorado’s High Country Hustle, and from the Front Range, The River Arkansas – two bands that will definitely keep the party going in Del Norte.
The new additions to the 2022 lineup join Railroad Earth, Bluegrass Generals, The Travelin’ McCourys, The Hip Abduction, The Texas Gentlemen, Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Cole Chaney w/Wolfpen Branch, Laney Lou and the Bird Dogs, The Jauntee, Branjae, Smelter Mountain Boys, and late-night sets by The Bent Ears!
Back for its 15th year, but boasting a brand new location in Del Norte, Rhythms on the Rio is a small but powerful festival that always features a fantastic lineup of established and up-and-coming artists.
Several years ago, in the previous location in South Fork, they had Tyler Childers playing an afternoon set to a small but enthusiastic crowd. Within a year he was headlining Red Rocks Amphitheater. Rhythms just has a way of knowing what’s hot!
Tickets are still on sale and include camping. Attendance is capped to keep Rhythms on the Rio an intimate gathering, so don’t sleep on this one!
