Festy GoNuts’ Take:
Nothing makes us happier than a Colorado Music Festival, and a new announcement that’s practically in our backyard takes the cake!
We’ve been long-time fans and supporters of Longmont’s Wibby Brewing. It’s more than the award-winning beers – they’ve created a much-needed event space in the fast-growing town of Longmont, with an amazing outdoor covered pavilion with plenty of room to dance. With an indoor space for more intimate performances, Wibby has been a huge supporter of local music.
Bloomgrass chose a great partner as the location for their inaugural fest – and then they brought in a fantastic lineup of nationally known headliners and local standouts. With local food vendors and craft beverages, artisan marketplace and interactive activities like the “Build Your Own Bouquet Bar” and Bloomgrass looks to become a fantastic new Mother’s Day tradition in Colorado!

FROM BLOOMGRASS:
Longmont, CO — April 6, 2026 — A new spring tradition is coming to Colorado’s Front Range.
Bloomgrass Music Festival, a family-friendly bluegrass celebration, will debut Mother’s Day Weekend,
May 9–10, 2026, at Wibby Brewing in Longmont. Founded by Colorado musician Benny Vista and his wife Alison, Bloomgrass was born out of a simple question: Why isn’t there something joyful, outdoors, and community-driven to do on Mother’s Day?
“Last year was our first Mother’s Day as parents,” said founder Benny Vista.“We wanted something that
felt alive — music, sunshine, community. When we couldn’t find it, we decided to build it.”
Bloomgrass brings together the best of national and local bluegrass talent on Colorado’s Front Range.
Headlined by Grammy Award winners Travelin’ McCourys and Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and rounded out by standout local acts like Tonewood String Band, Jake Leg, and Bear Hat, the festival’s premise is simple: world-class talent, small-town feel.
With 11 bands and a lineup that rivals festivals twice its size, Bloomgrass is poised to become one of the scene’s must-attend festivals. Bloomgrass blends high-quality live bluegrass music with a relaxed, welcoming festival atmosphere designed for families, music lovers, and anyone looking to celebrate Spring in Colorado. The two-day event will feature local artisan vendors, food trucks, craft beer, and interactive experiences — including a
“Build Your Own Bouquet Bar” sponsored by Longmont Florist and designed to celebrate moms in a unique and memorable way.
Festival organizers expect approximately 400 attendees per day in its inaugural year, with plans to scale
in future years while maintaining an intimate, community-first feel.
Festival Highlights Include:
●Live performances from top-tier bluegrass and roots artists
●A Mother’s Day-inspired experience with family-friendly programming
●Local food vendors and craft beverages
●Interactive activities and artisan marketplace
●A welcoming, all-ages environment
Bloomgrass is designed to be more than just a music festival — it’s a celebration of motherhood, springtime in Colorado, and the power of live music to bring people together.
Tickets are available now, with early supporters encouraged to follow along for schedule announcements
and Bloomgrass updates.
