FOOLFEST announces 2023 lineup for multi-city music festival
The music festival that sounds too good to be true is back for the summer of 2023!
In its 5th year, FoolFest has had people talking with its amazingly unbelievable lineups of just about every artist you can think of, and many more that you probably couldn’t!
With previous lineups boasting the likes of The Rolling Stones, Public Enemy, Prince, Talking Heads, Pink Floyd, Guns & Roses, A Tribe Calle Quest, and Jack Cloonan Band, FoolFest 2023 is looking to top them all!
Featuring The Cure, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fleetwood Mac, Stillwater, Neil Young, Depeche Mode, Beyoncé, Smashing Pumpkins, B-52s, Blondie – and that’s just the beginning!
Along with the top names, FoolFest has also been known to coax some rarely-seen groups out of obscurity and retirement, and that is true to form for 2023. The Sugarcubes, Wham!, Wyld Stallyns, Sonic Youth, Rage Against The Machine and Mystik Spiral are all playing what will be for many of them their first public engagement in years – decades even.
And then there are the special festival sets that only FoolFest can manifest. Like the highly anticipated Elton John with Eminem set, or The Travelin’ McCourys Pickin’ on Ween. FoolFest veterans GWAR are back on the roster with a very special acoustic performance, and Billie Elish will be joining Grateful Dead founder Bill Kreutzman for a unique Billy & the Kids set that can’t be missed!
The 11-city festival will feature 5-days of music in each location, spread out over 14 stages!
And the chosen stops for the traveling festival are unique on their own, all worthy of a visit for fans looking to travel for the one-of-a-kind musical gathering.
Cities like the laid-back Agrestic, California, or the quirky Pawnee, Indiana are definitely worth an extended trip. And even more excitement surrounds this year’s traveling festival as it extends its borders internationally, reaching into the tropical locals of Tipoca City and Mos Eisley.
Ticket information is promised to follow soon, and the festival has ensured a fair-to-all process to eliminate scalping and overpriced reselling of tickets. In fact, Eddie Vedder of the festival headliner Pearl Jam and Robert Smith of The Cure have vowed to personally oversee the ticketing process.
With a lineup to rival all festivals, 11 locations around the world and beyond, and a dedication to bringing the music to as many as possible, FoolFest 2023 will surely go down in history as the most unbelievable music festival ever.
You’d be a fool to miss it!
