Drunken Hearts Release Stirring New Single “Rose Colored Eyes” Featuring Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth

Drunken Hearts has been a staple of Colorado Music for years. Their gritty grass-roots sound combines with the raw power of singer/songwriter Andrew McConathy’s vocals to create a sound that we have described as uniquely their own.
With a large catalog of studio and live performance albums already under their belt, McConathy and Drunken Hearts are at it again, with a brand new single, “Rose Colored Eyes,” released in January 2025.
Once again, Drunken Hearts has tapped into the talents of long-time friend and collaborator Tim Carbone of Railroad Earth on fiddle.
“Rose Colored Eyes” is a deeply introspective piece that explores the contrast between the idealized vision of the “good old days” and the harsh historical realities that are often overlooked. With Carbone’s haunting fiddle lines adding a rich, emotional layer to the track, the song delivers a vintage yet critical tone that resonates deeply in today’s cultural landscape.
