Tico Time Bluegrass Festival Announces Huge 2025 Lineup: Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, Railroad Earth, more!
Tico Time Bluegrass Festival takes place May 16-18, 2025, in Aztec, NM. Tickets are on sale now.
What time is it?
Ever since the inaugural festival in 2021, the answer to that question has been Tico Time!
Held at Tico Time River Resort in Aztec, NM, just outside of Durango, the spring festival is a fantastic getaway from the Colorado Front Range to some warmer temps, with swimming and playing outdoors a bit earlier than is typically possible up north.
We attended the first 2 Tico Time Bluegrass Festivals and were blown away by the venue, the vibes, and the killer lineups.
Read our previous Tico Time reviews.
Now, heading into its 5th year, Tico Time is going BIG with a lineup to rival any in the country.
The Infamous Stringdusters, Railroad Earth, and Leftover Salmon top of the roster for the 2025 event.
For many, that alone would be worth the trip! But Tico Time hit it out of the park this year, including Peter Rowan & Sam Grisman Project playing music from Old & In the Way, Tim O’Brien & Jan Fabricius, Rebecca Frazier (2 Sets) ft. Grateful Strings & Original Set, and 2 sets from The Fretliners.
And while those big names might seem to some to drive the Tico Time 2025 Lineup, what really makes this festival special every year are the artists that make up the meat of the roster.
Durango’s own Stillhouse Junkies, Liver Down The River, and High Country Hustle maintain a hometown feel for this festival headlined by nationally touring powerhouses,
The rest of the roster is jam-packed with talent from Colorado and neighboring states: Magoo, Foggy Memory Boys, Silas Herman & The Tone Unit, La La Bones, Robin Davis Duo, Hunker Down, Slay & Stinson, Still House String Band, The Little Moon Travelers, Andrew Cooney & Derek Dames Ohl, Alex Graf Duo, All She Wrote, Timber!, San Juan Circus, MC Alex Blocker, Bob Hemenger and Steezy Strings.
Alongside this full lineup that keeps the music going all day and night, festival attendees can float in the large pond, hitting the water via a massive waterslide, while zip-liners fly overhead, all within view of the main stage. Dancing takes place on a beach, really hitting on all the Tico vibes.
Camping comes in all shapes and sizes – sleep under the stars in a tent, or get an RV site with full hookups and host a frozen margarita happy hour. (Are we suggesting this from experience? 🤔)
The world is your oyster at Tico Time!
See you there!
What time is it? TICO TIME!
