Gem and Jam Festival 2022: What to expect

Gem and Jam Festival is scheduled for February 4 – 6, 2022.  The three-day music, art, performance, and gem & mineral festival will return to the scenic desert landscapes of Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, Arizona. 

Gem and Jam Festival is returning to Tuscon, AZ in February to the delight of music lovers and art fans alike!

With a huge lineup of artists, an incredible location, festival glamping, late-night events, daytime workshops, delicious food & drink, a world-renowned vendor bazaar, and of course, around-the-clock music and art, Gem & Jam Festival 2022 is one you won’t want to miss!

Gem and Jam 2022: The Lineup

Let’s start with this killer lineup.  

For 2022, Gem and Jam is featuring STS9, Shpongle, Liquid Stranger, Lotus, and Claude VonStroke – and that’s just a start.  

Boulder, CO trio Sunsquabi will be in attendance, along with TAUK, Rising Appalachia, Brothers Comatose, Random Rab, Goldfish, and many, many more!

Gem & Jam 2022: The Venue

Gem and Jam has historically been held at the Pima County Fairgrounds located just 20 miles South of downtown Tuscon, Arizona.  The desert environment is spread across 640 acres surrounded by nature, allowing plenty of space for art installations, multiple stages, and camping options (including car and RV camping). 

Gem & Jam: Festival Glamping

Gem and Jam will also be including festival glamping this year, where attendees will step into the campground of the future where insulated Shift Pods dot the landscape and radiant community wanders throughout. The “Ready Set Camp” Shiftpods are made of a composite fabric that keeps cool during the daytime, while retaining warmth on cool nights.

Glamping options are not included with ticket admission and are available for purchase separately via the Gem and Jam website. Reserved in a shaded campsite on grass, each “Ready Set Camp” Shiftpods sleeps two comfortably and comes inclusive with an inflatable mattress, bedding, furniture, space heater, and electricity.

Gem & Jam 2022: Beyond the Music

Gem and Jam Festival is not just about the music.  It takes place during the annual Tuscon Gem, Mineral and Fossil Showcase, which attracts over 65,000 gem lovers to the Tuscon area over a 3-week period. 

In addition to the Gem and Mineral show, the festival will showcase art installations and performances, workshops, lectures, and many forms of artistic entertainment.  Additionally, the on-site food and beverage vendors will keep you deliciously sustained throughout the weekend!
