4848 Festival Rescheduled: September 3-5, 2021
4848 Festival Dates Move to September 3-5, 2021
Two Nights of Greensky Bluegrass, most 2020 acts plus more TBA
4848 Festival has made the following announcement:
Dear 4848 Festival Friends and Family,
There appears to be a light at the end of the tunnel and as we begin to see things open up, we remain optimistic and want to be certain that we can host the best and safest festival possible. As of March 3rd, the WV Governor lifted some restrictions on schools, restaurants and small businesses but when it came to fairs and festivals, he said “we will clarify guidelines as we get closer”. With the uncertainty of when these guidelines may roll out and how they may or may not affect the event, we have decided to move 4848 festival to Labor Day Weekend. We are trying to move us all closer to certainty.
This move gives us more time to acclimate to any guidelines that are set forth or lifted and provides us with the opportunity to present 4848 Festival in all its’ glory as we did in year one. No matter what, these extra two months will create a safer environment and an enhanced experience. Plus, with July fast approaching and our fan’s desire to make their summer plans, we see it as prudent to make this call now.
All tickets and room packages will be honored for the new dates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, we understand that some of you may have conflicts with the new dates and we are offering refunds from now until April 1st.
Most of the artists from 2020 will join us for Labor Day Weekend including Greensky Bluegrass for two-nights as the festival headliner, plus with a few more incredible bands added to the mix, we are confident you’ll be pleased with the final lineup.
The new dates will be September 3, 4, 5, 2021, a Friday, Saturday and Sunday with Monday off for most people. Stay tuned for more info.
We can’t wait to see you at a higher elevation!
