13th Annual Gasparilla Music Festival in Tampa, FL Announces Lineup, New Venue, Tickets, more!

The Festival takes place February 16-18 at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park.

 

Gasparilla Music Festival is making some waves in Tampa, FL, with a change in venue and a big initial lineup for its 13th year.

The initial lineup is well-rounded, bringing National acts from many genres to the Gasparilla stages.

Young the Giant, Louis the Child, Big Gigantic, and Lake Street Dive are the initial headliners, along with more top names in funk, bluegrass, hip-hop, soul, folk, and more.

The full initial announcement includes Coin, Trevor Hall, Digable Planets, Surf Mesa, Aidan Bissett, Beach Weather, Yonder Mountain String Band, Rebirth Brass Band, Eddie Roberts & The Lucky Strokes, The Collection, The Rumble, Steeln’ Peaches, Shelby Sol, Ashley Smith & The Random Occurrence, Minim, JudyAnne Jackson, the Tampa Metro Youth Orchestra and Mt Zion Gospel Choir, with many more to come!

The 2024 Florida festival is moving just a few miles away, to the other side of the Hillsborough River, at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park.  The new digs will feature four stages and a new Robert’s City Village containing a marketplace, live art installations and an expanded bike valet service.

Run by the Gasparilla Music Foundation, the festival is a Non-Profit that raises money to help Title 1 Schools with their music programs, while providing paying gigs to local musicians and so much more.

Tampa, Fla. (December 14, 2023)  – The Gasparilla Music Foundation has released its first preview of the 2024 Gasparilla Music Festival (GMF) including an initial list of bands that will be performing and details about its new venue at Julian B Lane Riverfront Park. 

“It is great to be back for our 13th year with 3 days of live music and all of our stages this year,” according to David Cox, Executive Director of the Gasparilla Music Foundation who produces the annual festival. “With our amazing new venue, we are able to take the festival experience to another level of experiences and fun.”

The festival’s primary stages include the Riverfront Stage, the Fortune Stage, the Roberts City Stage, and the Row House stage, each providing festival attendees intimate opportunities to experience a diverse mix of bands (see attached map). Also new at the 2024 festival will be its Robert’s City Village featuring a marketplace, libations and live art installations and an expanded Bike Valet service near the main entrance.  The festival will be hosting its Silent Disco on Friday and Saturday nights and its family friendly Kids Fest is back and set for Sunday starting at 1pm.

Notable acts in the first wave lineup announcement include Young the Giant (Saturday night), Louis the Child (playground set) (Friday night), Big Gigantic (Friday night), and Lake Street Dive (Sunday night). (full first wave list below)
