VIDEO PREMIERE: Drunken Hearts Forever Highway feat. Silas Herman & Dave Pahanish – Live from Meow Wolf Denver
Drunken Hearts recently released their 5th studio album, Reckless Ways of Living, featuring a slew of special guests and an evolution of sound that has mirrored the personal and musical growth of frontman Andrew McConathy.
We reviewed Reckless Ways of Living and noted the musical growth evident in this latest album:
Reckless Ways of Living gets to the core of McConathy, who says, “The songs are reasonably more of an honest representation of me as a songwriter.”

As part of the Reckless Ways release, McConathy and Drunken Hearts held a release party at the iconic Meow Wolf in Denver, Colorado.
Meow Wolf can be difficult to describe to anyone unfamiliar with it. It’s part museum, part fairy tale wonderland, part playground, and completely and wonderfully weird. It also is an incredible place for a rare live concert.
Recognizing the amazing opportunity offered by this unique venue, McConathy chose to use a live performance as the official music video for Forever Highway off of the new album.
“Forever Highway is one of my favorite songs from the new record,” says Andrew McConathy. “The producer Dave Pahanish came up with the chorus and asked me to write the verses. I actually quoted the chorus in my vows at our wedding! It’s been fun to watch it evolve from the studio recording (feat. Lindsay Lou, Kyle Tuttle, and Silas Herman) to where it is now when we play it live. Huge thanks to Meow Wolf for allowing us to be the first band to officially release content from this incredible space! “
