Spirit of Grey Fox 2020: A Virtual Music Festival
Due to the current health pandemic sweeping the entire world, Grey Fox Music Festival had to cancel their annual get-together in the Catskills of New York. This would have been the 35th Grey Fox Festival. Music typically stretches across 6 stages featuring the best artists in the bluegrass and newgrass music scene. The 2020 lineup included Billy Strings, The Travelin’ McCourys, Larry Keel, Steep Canyon Rangers, I’m With Her, Earls of Leicester, Tim O’Brien, Sierra Hull, and Molly Tuttle.
While music festivals across the country (and the world) are being totally canceled for 2020, many have moved the music to the online realm. Grey Fox is excited to introduce their fans to the newly created Spirit of Grey Fox for this year.
Watch the Grey Fox Virtual Festival
You can stream 4-days of The Spirit of Grey Fox on Nugs.tv from Thursday, July 16th through Sunday, July 20th, 2020. You can also watch on the Grey Fox Facebook page or YouTube channel—where you can join the chat with your stories, pictures and memories, and watch “with” your Grey Fox friends.
The virtual experience will feature sets by artists on the 2020 Lineup, as well as sets from the past. Spirit of Grey Fox 2020 is hosted by four great musicians and friends of the festival: Jerry Douglas, Ron Thomason, Sierra Hull, and Joe Newberry.
