Rumpke Mountain Boys Release New Studio Album “Know I’m Home”
Rumpke Mountain Boys released their newest studio album “Know I’m Home” on December 30th, 2021. The band celebrated their album release in front of their hometown crowd in Cincinnati, OH at Riverfront Live with a 2-night New Year’s celebration.
This is their first studio recording since releasing “High Time, Low Time” in 2016.
Rumpke Mountain Boys recorded “Know I’m Home” in early 2021 at the famous Royal Studios in Memphis, TN, working with the Grammy award-winning record producer Lawrence “Boo” Mitchell.
The new album features some old never-recorded tunes, along with some brand new ones such as the title track. Two tracks also feature drums played by Graham Winchester of Devil Train.
The band aptly named their album “Know I’m Home” because of its special meaning: being able to get back out and share the music with the fans after such a crazy couple of years in the industry. Being home in Cincinnati to celebrate the album’s release brought a sense of relief and normalcy to their local music community that we all so greatly need. “Know I’m Home” also means being able to find a sense of home no matter where road life takes you across the country.
Listen to the brand new album here. Stay tuned for more new music from Rumpke Mountain Boys this Spring when they will be releasing their first-ever electric album.
