Rhythms on the Rio Announces their 2019 Lineup

Set on the bank of the Rio Grande River in South Fork, Colorado, the 14th Annual Rhythms on the Rio Music Festival just announced an incredible lineup for August 2 – 4, 2019.

Rhythms on the Rio was created by the South Fork Music Association, a non-profit dedicated to providing music lessons and instruments to children throughout the San Luis Valley.  SFMA is run completely by volunteer efforts focused on their mission: Keeping music alive – one child at a time!

The 2019 Rhythms on the Rio Lineup includes Fruition, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, The Travelin’ McCourys,  The Grateful Ball (with Travelin’ McCourys and friends), Larry Keel Experience with special guests Jeremy Garrett and Kyle Tuttle,  Kyle Hollingsworth Band (String Cheese Incident), The Main Squeeze, Bill Nershi (String Cheese Incident), Pixie and the Partygrass Boys, Wood Belly and Elder Grown and more!

This lineup proves that the 2019 Rhythms on the Rio music festival will feature plenty of funk, rock, jam, and bluegrass throughout the weekend.  Attendees are always treated to the beautiful Rio Grande River, perfect for floating and fishing all weekend long.  Campers will enjoy the grassy campground, with spaces available along the river (first-come, first serve!). And all will enjoy the incredibly beautiful drive to South Fork, Colorado.

Rhythms on the Rio is an intimate music festival experience built by a community focused on providing music to all.

About the South Fork Music Association:

“We are a volunteer organization striving to provide artistic and cultural events that enhance our guests experience while in South Fork, Colorado. Rhythms on the Rio was created as such an event and a platform to fund our Children’s Music Program by providing National Touring Artists from diverse musical genres in a respectful, family-friendly festival. In January 2013 the 1st lessons began and the Children’s Music program has provided 40 local children with FREE instrument ownership & music lessons while giving them the confidence to perform with National Artists at a music festival setting.”
