Pixie and The Partygrass Boys Announce New Record “The Chicken Coop, Vol. 1” Available Via Americana Vibes on May 19
Salt Lake City-based purveyors of bluegrass, skiing, and silly outfits, Pixie and The Partygrass Boys, have announced the release of a brand new album The Chicken Coop, Vol. 1, the first on indie label Americana Vibes.
Set for release on May 19th, the band continues their upward trajectory with guest appearances from Jeremy Garrett and Andy Hall of The Infamous Stringdusters further solidifying being touted as “the hottest band in the Wasatch” by Intermountain Acoustic Music Association and earning coveted slots on festival lineups including Northwest String Summit, DelFest, Peach Fest, Jam Cruise, WinterWonderGrass.
The lead single “Don’t Leave Me This Way” is out today accompanied by a disco-themed visualizer directly mirroring the vibes of the somber verses, victorious choruses, and impassioned gospel-choir-inspired outro.
Ski & Partygrass
Featuring soulful, often harmonic vocals and solid strings and rhythm, this tight-knit crew was born out of the belly of a warm cabin after a long day on the slopes drinking whiskey and singing into the night.
