The 17th Northwest String Summit
Like each of the previous 16 String Summits, this one will be an amazing weekend filled with the best music in bluegrass and Americana, bringing together a family of festivarians that has been attending this fest since the beginning.
For four days and nights, Yonder Mountain String Band and their friends, family, and fans will get down in the beautiful woods of Hornings. This year, Yonder will be joined by Greensky Bluegrass, Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, Fruition, The Infamous Stringdusters, Keller Williams, Mandolin Orange, Shook Twins, The Lil Smokies, Jon Stickley Trio, Drunken Hearts, Dustbowl Revival, Danny Barnes, Darol Anger and many, many more!

Tickets are still available at stringsummit.com. In addition to your festival/camping ticket, you will also need to purchase a parking pass for $29.99. Get this ahead of time to save the effort on site! Children 10 years old and under are FREE with paying adult.

*Gates will open to the public at approximately 12:00 PM on Thursday.
*If you arrive after midnight, you will not be allowed down into the amphitheater and could be turned around. Please plan accordingly.
Know the Rules Before You Go!
Northwest String Summit is held on private property, Horning’s Hideout. This magical place is a perfect setting for a music festival, but does have its own set of rules we must abide by. Here are the rules to Horning’s Hideout.
Respect the Peacock!
That’s right. There are peacocks. And while the males are beautiful in their full spectrum of feathered display, they aren’t exactly the friendliest of animals! Give them their space!
Directions to Horning’s Hideout
(from the Horning’s Hideout website)
- From Portland Take Highway 26 West approximately 15 miles to Exit 57, North Plains/Glencoe Road.
- Turn right (North) from the exit onto Glencoe Road.
- Take Glencoe Rd. approximately 1.5 miles to a left fork that is Pumpkin Ridge Road.
- Follow Pumpkin Ridge Rd. for 5 miles to a right fork onto Brunswick Canyon Road .
- Follow Brunswick Canyon Road 1 mile down into the canyon.
If you are coming from the coast, you can hook up with 26 East from Hwy 101
If you are coming either North or South on I-5, or on I-84 through The Columbia River Gorge, you’ll drive into Portland and take the I-405 loop to 26 West, then follow the directions above – Horning’s is very easy to find!
