DelFest Announces Return after 2-Year Hiatus
DelFest 2022: Welcome Back!
The 14th Annual DelFest Music Festival will take place May 26 – 29, 2022 in Cumberland, Maryland.
DelFest was just one of the many music festivals that tragically shut down during the health pandemic. But after a two-year hiatus, it gives us great pleasure to announce that DelFest 2022 will take place on May 26 – 29 at the beloved Alleghany County Fairgrounds in Cumberland, Maryland.
The return of DelFest also means the return of DelFest Academy, the 3-day music school that takes place before the festival begins.
This year’s lineup features a spectacular listing of new and old favorite artists, including the astounding collaboration of Bela Fleck’s My Bluegrass Heart.
Railroad Earth, Sam Bush, Leftover Salmon and Cabinet catapult this festival lineup to one of the best in 2022, with The California Honeydrops, The Lil’ Smokies and Pert Near Sandstone standing out as highlights.
Del McCoury and the Travelin’ McCoury’s, the festival hosts, never disappoint with their amazing sets and sit-ins, on and off the mainstage. And with regulars like Sierra Hull returning, we know this year’s collaborations will not disappoint.
