Boogie at the Broadmoor: What to Expect

When Leftover Salmon plans a party, it’s sure to be a good one. These guys practically invented the concept of a festival with all the comforts – beds, showers, and first-class restaurants.  Leftover Salmon has planned fun trips for their fans in a variety of places – from the Stanley Hotel in Colorado to the Alyeska Resort in Alaska.   And each weekend includes incredible music and interactive activities at beautiful locations.

So, what can you expect at Boogie at the Broadmoor?  Expect three days and nights of dancing. Expect some incredible sets of music.  Expect a lot of fun activities.  Expect to make some weird memories with your friends.

Expect a weekend you’ll never forget.

But most of all – expect the unexpected.

Boogie at the Broadmoor: The Venue

The Broadmoor Hotel is a world-class five-star resort in Colorado Springs, CO.  It’s only 75 miles from Denver, but a world away from city life.  You’ve got tons of iconic Colorado scenery to explore – mountains and rivers and canyons, oh my!

This hotel has been in operation for over 100 years, so we’re pretty sure they’ve got everything dialed in.  They’ve got a movie theater, bowling alley, spa, golf course, and about a dozen restaurants and bars.  They make a point to mention their ice service, so prepare to be spoiled, ice-lovers!

Leftover Salmon

Duh.  It’s a FESTIVAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLL, and no one does it better than Leftover Salmon.

Jerry Douglas and Friends

The man is a legend.  And he has some legendary friends.

Circles Around the Sun

Los Angeles based instrumental supergroup has a brand new full-length studio album that they are excited to share!

Andy Frasco and The U.N.

Do you like fun?  No?! Better stay away from this show, then.

Yonder Salmon Boys

A mix of two of the best bands Colorado has ever produced.

Nick Forster’s Hippie Bluegrass Church

Church is way better with hippies.  Stay in your Jammies for this one!

Deadphish Orchestra

Grateful Dead + Phish = Good time dance party

Grant Farm

This amazing band from Colorado has announced their retirement, so don’t miss what is to be one of their last shows!

Handmade Moments

This duo puts out a huge sound.  Jazz, bluegrass, hip hop and more!

The Lonesome Days

This 5-piece, high-energy, modern bluegrass ensemble from Denver are carving out their niche in the national bluegrass arena.

Armchair Boogie

Their name pretty much sums up the best parts about this festival!

Jack Cloonan Band

Like to get weird?  How about getting weird with an extremely talented group of pickers?  You’ll dig this.  Trust us.

Wood Belly

A blend of traditional bluegrass with some amazing songwriting.

Pick & Howl

They combine original songwriting with high energy bluegrass guaranteed to get feet tappin’, and the dance floor shakin’!

Shawn Nelson Band

A little bit of country and Americana will do you right!

Roosevelt Collier

Funk and Soul and a get-down you won’t want to miss when Roosevelt is on the stage!

Adam Greuel

Adam Greuel of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades has quickly become one of our favorite performers and festival additions.  With Greuel in the house, you never know what might happen.

Jazz Brunch ft. Gabe Mervine

We admittedly only just started listening to trumpet player Gabriel Mervine when his name appeared on this lineup.  Now we can’t stop.  Check him out and don’t miss his Jazz Brunch!

Danny Barnes

Do we even have to explain Danny Barnes?  The man is a legend.  We are blessed to have him join us.  Why is he so far down on this list???

Eric Thorin

Eric Thorin will be holding down the low-end with a bunch of these folks, most likely including Danny Barnes and Nick Forster.
