Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival Announces 2022 Lineup
Bonnaroo Music and Art Festival Announces Full Lineup for 2022
Bonnaroo Music and Art Festival will take place in Manchester, TN, June 16 – 19, 2022
We had come to expect concert and festival cancellations over the past year, mostly due to COVID. But it was shocking to the music world when Bonnaroo Music and Art Festival was forced to cancel its 2021 festival – not because of COVID, but because of the weather. Tropical Depression Ida swept through the area and reduced the beloved Great Stage Park in Manchester, TN to a puddle of mud. Organizers had no choice to but cancel Bonnaroo 2021.
But now Bonnaroo is BACK for 2022 – and we all are keeping fingers crossed that nothing will stop it this time!
And with the lineup of artists slated to perform at Bonnaroo 2022 – let’s send all the positive thoughts and vibes in the world to Manchester in the hopes that this really happens!
BONNAROO 2022 LINEUP
There are some heavy-hitters on the Bonnaroo 2022 Lineup, as is to be expected. I mean, this is the festival that has scheduled U2 and Red Hot Chili Peppers – on the same day! Everyone has played the ‘Roo, from Phish and Widespread Panic and The Dead to Pearl Jam, LCD Soundsystem and Ween. And while some have said the lineups haven’t been as strong in recent years, it’s hard to argue with the talent brought together for 2022.
The big Saturday Night headliner is TOOL. It’s a packed day, with Flume, 21Savage, and, perhaps the biggest draw on the schedule, Billy Strings. Billy Strings and his band have been tearing up the festival circuit, and this summer in Manchester, thousands of soon-to-be fans are about to learn just why.
Other headliners of note are Robert Plant & Allison Krauss, J. Cole, The Chicks, Goose, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, CHVRCHES, Stevie Nicks, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, Herbie Hancock, and literally dozens and dozens of other great acts.
