Block Party Eagle 2023: Schedule and Information
Block Party Music Festival takes place in Eagle, CO, August 11 – 13, 2023.
The three-day outdoor music festival will showcase 13 bands on three stages, featuring Lettuce, Oteil & Friends, Pepper, Sam Bush, Paul Cauthen and many more.
Ain’t no party like an Eagle Block Party!
We like a good party, and the folks at Block Party Eagle certainly know how to throw one.
For 3 days in August, the streets of Eagle, Colorado will be transformed into an amazing music festival.
With a sick lineup of talent, great food and drink, camping available, and gorgeous Colorado mountains as your backdrop, this one-of-a-kind music festival is not to be missed!
So let’s get down to the who, what, when, where, why, and how of Block Party Eagle:
What: A 3-day Music Festival in Downtown Eagle, CO
Featuring an eclectic mix of live blues, funk, and rock in the heart of downtown Eagle. Block Party offers a full-weekend summer kickback filled with food trucks, bars, craft vendors, camping, and a VIP experience.
When: August 11 – 13, 2023
Who: Block Party Eagle Lineup and Schedule
The who of Block Party Eagle makes this party a no-brainer. That is, if you like great music.
The Block Party headliners include Oteil & Friends. If you’re not in the know about this supergroup, it will be two-time Grammy-winning bassist Oteil Burbridge, along with Duane Betts, Jason Crosby, John Kimock, Tom Guarna and Alfreda Gerald. This powerhouse is headlining on Friday night.
On Saturday we’ll be hit with the back-to-back headlining combination of Pepper and Lettuce. That’s some seriously funky good times, with plenty of reggae vibes thrown in to keep the people steppin’, as the kids say. (What’s that? Oh, they don’t say that? Hmm.)
It’s not just the headliners – the supporting acts of Block Party Eagle are loaded with talent up and down the board.
Let’s start with Paul Cauthen, who we dubbed one of the 10 Wonders of WinterWonderGrass festival this past winter. We can’t try to explain Paul Cauthen – just start listening now and thank us later.
Of course, Sam Bush needs no introduction, but if he did, we’d remind you that he is known as The King of Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and is simply a legend.
Speaking of legends – Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe. In 2023, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe celebrate its 25th anniversary as a band. There’s simply no one like Karl D, and there’s nothing like a Tiny Universe show!
We could go on, but the lineup really speaks for itself.
The Record Company, Dumpstaphunk, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Bill & Jilian Nershi ft. Jason Hann, Celisse, Float Like a Buffalo, and Trees Don’t Move are all on tap to rock the streets of Eagle all weekend long.
And it doesn’t stop there.
On Sunday, at Bloodies and Brass, we get Big Sam’s Funky Nation. Big Sam is a New Orleans staple, and his Funky Nation delivers high-energy music that mixes funk, rock & roll, hip-hop, and jazz into the same pot, gluing everything together with the brassy influence — and heavy grooves — of New Orleans.
