We love Colorado for many reasons, one of the best being the amazing local music we get to enjoy.

At the top of the list of local artists is Banshee Tree.  This amazing group really does defy genres, but they are self-described as “indie-folk-electro” – if you aren’t quite sure how to process that, just listen to them and make your own assessment.

All we know is that a Banshee Tree show is a good time, and we are lucky that we can ring in the New Year in Colorado with a special show at The Fox Theater.

Joining Banshee Tree at the Fox on December 30 is another local fav – The Green House Band.  Festy GoNuts had the pleasure of premiering their hit “Raining on Vandeventer” when it was released in 2021.  Since, they have released their 3rd studio offering, “Burning Blue.”

Rounding out the lineup is Boulder funk band B Love Experience, ensuring that the 30th at the Fox will be a non-stop dance party to start ringing in the New Year!

This headlining performance will feature both new music from Banshee Tree’s upcoming album and an expanded light-and-visual production, capping the first leg of the group’s winter tour in its hometown of Boulder. Banshee Tree has spent 2022 touring relentlessly in support of its self-titled 2021 release and recently released a music video for the track “Canary’s Gone,” performed live in Boulder at The Fox.
