5 Reasons to Go to UtopiaFest 2019
5 Reasons to Attend UtopiaFest 2019
by Britt White
The 11th Annual UTOPiAfest will be held on November 14 (Pre-Party), 15, and 16, 2019 at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, TX – about an hour from Austin. UtopiaFest will once again provide a total festival experience, including outdoor activities, workshops and lectures, and local food and beverages.
Here are 5 reasons that you should plan on attending this years UtopiaFest.
1
Fellowship
The most common phrase at UtopiaFest is “how can I help” and that very spirit resonates throughout the entire utopian experience. An environment of conscious humans engaging with each other is rare in this day and age, but, most importantly, is the spirit of welcome you feel being helped and helping others have a great time

Intimate Music Experiences
At UtopiaFest, no two bands are playing at the same time, so you never have to choose who you can or can’t see. Goodtimes Grove also provides soul-shaking acoustic performances between 12-5 am, all of which are recorded.

BYOB and Camping
Need I say more!?
Festivals can typically be pretty strict about their drinking rules, but UtopiaFest is one of the few BYOB (Bring Your Own Beverage) festivals. Attendees are able to carry their drinks from their campground to the stage area. Of course, drinks are available for purchase (and are reasonably priced). So feel free to suppor the festival with tasty treats from Real Ale, Zilker Brewing, and William Chris Wines.
Camping is encouraged – and free! As this festival grows, so does the creativity of the camps (many now with names and themes). Want to upgrade? You can get car camping and RV camping passes as well (for a fee).

The Weather
This time of year in Texas is glorious, sunny and warm during the day and cold and fire-worthy by night. Expect sunny clear skies by day with brisk moon-filled nights. Seriously – Reveille Peak Ranch is beautiful!
That being said, make sure you are prepared for the temperature swings at UtopiaFest 2019.

The Memories
UtopiaFest really feels like a family, and frankly, year after year it’s grown and the love has only gotten stronger. There is a specific passion and fire that every artist has with their performances here that resonates within all of its attendees.
In its 11th year, UtopiaFest strives to provide a complete festival experience – music, activities, family and fun. When you aren’t enjoying magical music eminating from the two stages, you’ll hopefully take time to enjoy many of the activites at the ranch. Mountain biking, hiking, disc golf and yoga are all ways to truly embrace this UtopiaFest venue. Or participate in the several art installations, thought-provoking workshops and lectures or other activities held throughout the festival grounds.
UtopiaFest has strived to stand out from other festivals, and there is a reason that festival-goers come back year after year.
